Important Update for EOS Wallet Users

David Hunting | May 5, 2026

At Sportbet.one, we’re making an infrastructure upgrade to improve long-term stability, speed, and reliability across the platform.

Starting from Monday, May 25, 2026, we’re removing our dependency on the EOS blockchain and moving legacy EOS wallet users to a new account system.

This only affects players who previously used Anchor or Wombat wallets to log in. If you don’t use Anchor or Wombat for login, nothing changes for you.

Important: Complete your transfer by May 31 (inclusive) to participate in future dividend distributions, starting June 1. You will still be able to transfer your account after May 31, but your dividends will be unavailable until the transfer is completed.

Your account, balances, betting activity, bonuses, and access to the platform stay exactly the same.

This upgrade benefits all users through:

  • Faster bet processing and payouts
  • Fewer technical errors and rare edge-case issues
  • Improved platform stability
  • A stronger foundation for future improvements

So in the end, every player wins (pun intended).

Why we’re making this change

Sportbet.one was one of the first sports betting platforms built with deep EOS integration, where betting activity interacted directly with blockchain smart contracts.

While that setup played a big role in the platform’s early growth, it also created legacy dependencies we no longer want linked to core performance.

This upgrade removes that extra weight and helps keep Sportbet.one faster, more reliable, and ready for future changes.

What changes for EOS wallet users

If you previously used Anchor or Wombat for login, you’ll be guided through a simple migration process.

You’ll move your account to a new login using email and password while keeping your account history and assets intact.

What will transfer with you

Your migration includes:

  • Account balances
  • VIP status and progress
  • Sportsbook and casino betting history
  • SBET balances
  • Account data and preferences
  • Dividend participation

What happens with dividends

If you stake SBET and get dividends, don’t worry: nothing about the dividend program is going away.

To keep receiving dividends, you’ll simply:

  1. Unstake your SBET
  2. Transfer it to your new account
  3. Stake again once setup is complete

After that, dividends continue as usual.

How migration works

When migration goes live, you will see a simple guided setup:

Step 1

Verify your email.

Step 2

Create a password for your new login.

Step 2: Create your password

Step 3

Transfer balances and, if needed, move SBET used for dividends.

Step 3: Choose a new crypto and transfer your money
How to transfer your SBET dividends

When this starts

Migration will begin on Monday, May 25, 2026.

We’ll ensure reminders and guide you through each step directly on the platform.

Looking ahead

This upgrade gives Sportbet.one a stronger foundation while keeping everything you already rely on.

Same platform. Same dividends. Just a stronger infrastructure behind it.
